Sales & Operations Executive – Starting Salary £16,000 – Bonus Potential
Vouch For That Ltd. is an early stage business located in Glasgow, currently operating from offices on Paisley Road West near Cessnock Underground station. We provide a platform for businesses in the hospitality and tourism sector to sell gift vouchers from their own websites. We then manage, monitor and distribute the gift vouchers orders and provide five star customer service to our clients and their guests 7 days a week.
Vouch for That is a Glasgow based early stage business, providing online gift voucher technology to the hospitality and tourism market.
Firstly, you will be responsible for assisting the Managing Director in the day to day operations of the business. Working for a small company means that no two days are the same – but as standard, on a daily basis – you will be tasked with offering excellent customer service to our clients and their guests, monitoring orders and packing & posting our gift vouchers for delivery.
Secondly, you will be fundamental in promoting the growth of our business. This will be a combination of research phone calls, following up on sales leads and shaping the sales and marketing plan for the company. We are also looking to bring a new and innovative online service to the tourism market and you will be involved in the development of this project.

We are looking for someone who is forward thinking, able to bring exciting ideas to our team and most importantly not be afraid to get stuck in and get stuff done! You must be a very confident communicator and dogged in your approach to making research phone calls to prospective clients and following up on business leads. You must also be able to write compelling copy to help in the creation of company marketing documents and online blogs to promote our business and our clients.
Previous experience in a hospitality/tourism environment or telesales would be an advantage but not essential. What is essentail is to have the right attitude, be able to offer excellent customer service and a willingness to learn a whole host of new business skills.
Our business operates seven days a week, so you must be able to work one weekend in four. As a gifting business, the festive period is our very busiest time, so you must be available to work throughout November and up until the last postage date which is usually around the 21st of December.
Due to funding we are receiving to help with this recruitment, applicants must have graduated in the last two years and have an address in a Glasgow City Council area.
